ElgeyoMarakwet flaggs off drugs

Deputy Governor Wesley Rotich flagging off drugs

Elgeyo Marakwet County has flagged off a consignment of drugs worth Sh52 million.
The drugs from Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) were flagged off on Monday by Deputy Governor Wesley Rotich.
Rotich said the drugs will be distributed to all the health facilities in the county.
“The county government is going to ensure that these drugs are prudently utilized. We want to make sure that healthcare is improved,”Rotich said.
He called on the residents to report on any cases of drug shortage.
“We don’t want some cases whereby patients are told there are no drugs in hospitals and that is why we want them to be vigilant and report such incidences for quick action,” He added.
