Moi ally advises Rotich to tell truth to avoid more trouble

Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket now says that former National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich still has a way out of his current troubles.
The latter who has since been replaced is fighting corruption charges, which on Tuesday saw him arraigned in court, over his implication in the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal.
But Kamket now says that the latter and his co-accused could be suffering on behalf of other parties out of court, telling them to instead tell the truth and avoid more trouble.
In a tweet Wednesday, the Kenya African National Union (KANU) lawmaker advised the group not to carry someone else's sins, and should open up and walk free.
"My friend CS Henry Rotich and Co.... Please do not play Jesus and carry the sins of others. Toboa mambo (release the truth) and walk free," he tweeted.
Rotich was arraigned alongside his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge and other officials linked graft claims marring to the construction of the dams in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
On Wednesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta picked Labour Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani to take over in an acting capacity, marking the end of Rotich's seven-year undisrupted tenure.
A section of Rift Valley leaders have since condemned the arrest, with Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen terming it a Public Relations stunt.-Hibiscus.com
