DP Ruto rescues N Rift politician

Deputy President William Ruto had to come to the rescue of a Northrift politician on Friday.

Ruto was on a development tour in Nandi County where he commissioned some projects including the Nandi Milk processing plant and expansion of Kabiyet sub county hospital.

Ruto had to ask Nandi residents to respect all the elected leaders during his speech.

This was after Nandi Women MP Tecla Tum was booed when she was ushered to the podium to address wananchi.

Tum was forced to cut short her speech after the crowd became wild.

Ruto chided men who heckled the women representative saying it was uncalled for
