Why ODM celebrated DP Ruto's wife Rachel

Despite DP William Ruto and Raila Odinga's political differences, ODM party led by Raila celebrated Rachel Ruto yesterday.

Through their Twitter account, ODM party in a special message celebrated Ida Odinga, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and Rachel Ruto.

Ruto and Raila former political allies now foes  are fierce critic of one another.

Their political gap widened when President Uhuru Kenyatta shook hands with Raila, with Ruto revealing that he opposed former premier's offer for handshake.

Raila is currently carrying out a campaign against Ruto's 2022 bid to succeed Uhuru.
