Soy MP Caleb reveals the next person to succeed Mandago

Soy MP Caleb Kositany has revealed a formula  to  be used in getting another leader to succeed Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago.

Mandago's second term will elapse in 2022 and he will not eligible to vie for the same seat as stipulated in the constitution.

Mandago is yearning to leave a legacy in terms of development as the first governor of Uasin Gishu county. He has been praised for his development record however his critics has sought to bring him down.

While speaking, Caleb said the next person to take over the reigns of power in the county should be a development-wise person who will fit in Mandago's shoes.

"Our county has made strides in development and we don't want our journey to be cut or slowed down when Mandago exits. The next person should be the one who has interests of Uasin Gishu people at heart. That is the leader who will be able to continue what Mar had started,"He Said.

In the previous election, businessman-cum politician Zedekiah Buzeki rivaled Mandago in the jubilee party primaries and lost seat in August elections while running as an independent candidate.

"We will discuss as leaders and people of Uasin Gishu in order to agree on one person to succeed Mandago,"Kositany added.

Former KANU politician Jonathan Bii phobias joined jubilee party, Kenyan ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok and Buzeki are front runners for the seat in 2022.
