Mosop MP reveals a person the teachers are fronting to unseat him in 2022
Mosop MP Vincent Tuwei has warned primary and secondary school teachers in his constituency against hatching a plan to front their candidate to unseat him in 2022.
While speaking yesterday at Kapnganio, Tuwei cautioned teachers against fronting a person who will derail development agenda in Mosop.
He said he is aware that teachers had ganged up against him and they are grooming a person to unseat him in 2022.
"I know teachers are having their candidate who will compete with me in 2022.I want to tell them that I have started well my development agenda and we are on the right track. But I am worried you may make decisions that will destroy the good development record I have started,"He said.
Tuwei has been at loggerheads with teachers in his constituency over school's performances.
Two weeks ago Tuwei's speech almost degenerated into a fist fight gainst Knut executive secretary Nandi North Josphat Serem after the MP attacked the latter for poor performances in schools.
According to Tuwei, most of the headteachers in public schools were not committed to uplifting their schools since their children were studying in private schools.
He said he will transfer all the primary school heads should the results not improve by December.
