MP spokes on Mandago joining Gideon Moi's camp

Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono has cautioned Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago against being influenced to join Gideon Moi's camp.

According to Rono, ElegeyoMarakwet boss Alex Tolgos is a friend to Mandago and he has since abandoned Ruto for Moi.

"Governor Mandago I have a.message for you.Don't be influenced by our Governor Tolgos to join Gideon.I have been worried because he is your friend,"Rono said.

"You you can easily be convinced because of your friendship but I am glad that you have a stand you have been a firm supporter of the DP,"Rono spoke during the burial ceremony of a brother to Mandago.

Tolgos last month announced that he will not support DP Ruto's quest to ascend to presidency.He cited frustrations from people close to Ruto.

"Tolgos has been roaming in Kabarak and I want to tell him that Ruto commands huge support in Kenya,"He said.

While speaking, Mandago said the DP is the next president of Kenya.He said he will traverse the county campaigning for him.

Gideon has interest for the country's top seat and he is trying to wrestle Ruto from succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta.
