Tolgos message to DCI,Ruto's man in trouble

After decamping to Gideon Moi's camp, ElgeyoMarakwet boss Alex Tolgos now wants Director of Criminal Investigation to take action.

While speaking yesterday,Tolgosw called on  DCI to finalise investigations into the alleged theft of Sh21 billion for construction of mega-dams in Arror and Kimwarer.

He welcomed the sacking of David Kimosop as the  MD Kerio Valley Development Authority.

Kimosop was last week on Wednesday ousted in a dramatic board meeting that saw him walk out.

He has however vowed that the procedure was illegal and he will discharge his duties as usual at KVDA.

The governor said the dam projects located in his county stalled because of Kimosop’s mistakes at KVDA but since he has been removed, the government should proceed with construction.

"The DCI should now move with speed and finalise the investigations to pave way for the construction of dams,"He said.

Tolgos said the firing of Kimosop last week was long overdue and the former CEO should vacate office instead of crying foul.

“I raised issues about him long ago and he ended up messing our key dam projects. He should vacate office and hand over as ordered,” Tolgos added.

Kimosop is among the individuals under probe by the DCI over the dams scandal.
