Mandago reveals whom he will endorse to succeed him in 2022

Several politicians are warming up to succeed Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago when his term ends in 2022.

Mandago, the second time Jubilee Governor narrowly won the seat last year after a fierce contest with Zedekiah Buzeki.

He again surprisingly beat the then potential candidate Ambassador Julius Bitok to secure victory as thr first Governor of Uasin Gishu.

Different politicians have been traversing the county having already declared their intentions for the seat.

They include Buzeki,Kesses MP Swarrup Mishra,Kenyan Ambassador to Pakistan Prof.Julius Bitok among others.

While speaking during a wedding ceremony of Bitok's brother in Marura,Mandago hinted that he will support him.

He said Bitok supported his re-election bid. "I must thank you for you supported my re-election in 2017.You deserve my appreciation.You showed maturity in politics and I will stand with you"Mandago said.

Bitok on his part said he is ready to succeed Mandago after being patient in the first and second term.
