Turbo MP Sitienei tells off politicians tainting DP Ruto's image
Turbo Member of parliament Janet Sitienei has told off politicians trying to taint the image of the Deputy President William Ruto in a bid to derail his 2022 succession plan.
Sitienei said they should instead face him in the ballot and see who will triumph.
“It is sad that some politicians are plotting for the downfall of the deputy president 2022 succession plan but they won’t succeed since they are the voters who will decide who will be their president come 2022,” said the Turbo MP.
The Turbo MP was speaking in Eldoret town.
“It’s not right for a section of politicians in the ruling party and those from the opposition to spearhead hate campaign against DP to scuttle his 2022 succession plan,” she added.
She, however, reiterated the Kalenjin community support to the deputy president William Ruto 2022 presidential ambitions adding that attempts by his critiques to divide the community will not succeed.
“A plot by Ruto’s critics to bring disunity between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta was bound to fail miserably as the two are more united than ever in championing for peace and development in the country,” noted the Turbo MP.
She added that come 2022 DP Ruto will be elected as Kenyans 5th president due to his development record.
