Leaders from ElgeyoMarakwet County have disowned Zedekiah Buzeki's sentiments that seemed to undermine DP William Ruto.
The leaders led by Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono and former legislator Jackson Kiptanui warned Buzeki against his latest move in the political arena.
Last month Buzeki announced that he had dumped Ruto in order to chart his political path.He joined Isaac Ruto-led Chama Cha Mashinani party which is set to be launched soon in Uasin Gishu.

He refused to heed Rut call to step down and support Mandago in the previous elections.
Buzeki last week claimed that he had over a million followers adding that he is now the official spokesman of Keiyo community, one of the Kalenjin sub-tribes.
This attracted the wrath of political leaders who bashed him for his uncalled for sentiments and self elevation.

According to Kiptanui,Keiyo community have not met and elected their spokesman. He said Buzeki's sentiments are purely misplaced.
"As far as I am concerned , we have not met and discussed about Keiyo community spokesman. We have no one.He should not brag about because former minister Nicholas Biwott didn't announce himself as a spokesman despite being powerful,"Kiptanui said.

Keiyo south MP Daniel Rono |
Rono said they recognise Ruto as the Kalenjin kingpin and there is no day they have discussed and elected Buzeki as a spokesman from Keiyo.
He lashes out at him for claiming to be commanding huge support in the region.
"He was close to winning Governorship seat and that has made him brag.I don't think he deserves to be elected again. He is is now claiming to be competing with Ruto,"Rono said.
The move to launch CCM in Ruto's backyard has not gone well with political leaders from the region.
It has been deemed as an attempt to undermine the DP at home.
