Mandago's deputy hit out at Buzeki

Uasin Gishu deputy governor Daniel Chemno has hit out businessman-cum politician Zedekiah Buzeki for declaring himself Keiyo spokesman.

Buzeki who dumped DP William Ruto said when he hosted some people at his home that he is the Keiyo spokesman.

Buzeki who joined Chama Cha Mashinani led by Isaac Ruto said he has over 2 million votes from rift region.

But Chemno who spoke in Eldoret bashed Buzeki saying no one has elected him as the community spokesman.

“Somebody cannot just come out of a hotel after taking lunch and brand himself the Keiyo spokesman. The community has spokesmen who have been selected depending on the regions they come from and we don’t need any other person,” said Chemno.

“The position of Keiyo leaders is not given in someone’s house but with all Keiyo’s and at the moment we have MCAs, MPs, senators, governors and other leaders who speak on our behalf,” added the deputy governor.

Buzeki unsuccessfully vied for Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat.
