Revealed:Plot to scuttle DP Ruto's 2022 presidential bid

Kapseret MP Osca Sudi has revealed a plan meant to scuttle DP William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

Sudi an ardent supporter of Ruto said they are aware of the plot adding that it will not succeed.

While speaking the second time legislator said those opposed to Ruto's bid have resorted to using politicians from his backyard to undermine the DP.

"We are aware of the plot of those opposed to the DP aimed at derailing his 2022 bid.I want to tell them that they will fail terribly because Ruto in not in their league,"Sudi said.

He said businessman-cum politician Zedekiah Buzeki is the latest to be approached to oppose Ruto.

Buzeki who is an ally of Ruto two weeks ago announced that he had decamped to another faction and he will no longer support Ruto's camp.

This came after he met with Cherangany MP Joshua kutuny, Silas Tiren (Moiben) and former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.The leaders are felt out with DP.

Buzeki announced that he will soon launch Chama Cha Mashinani party in Uasin Gishu.

"They want to use them so as to create an impression that Rift valley has shifted their support in order to make Ruto concentrate on his backyard campaigning.I wany to tell them they will rattle wananchi who are behind Ruto.Ruto is a national leader who has the support from all parts of the country,"Sudi said.

He said they had started approaching rebel leaders from the region but after dialogue, they have resorted not to support Ruto.
