Tussle looms at KVDA as sacked boss Kimosop takes another step
It is going to be noisy and messy at the Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) after the sacked managing director David Kimosop vows to remain in office.
Kimosop has resolved to stay put even after he was ousted on Wednesday by the board.
“The KVDA board of directors has no powers to sack me and to that effect I am still the MD,” he said.

Kimosop is at the centre of the Arror and Kimwarer dam scandal, where it is alleged that over Ksh21 billion was lost to Italian company.
A circular from the Ministry of East Africa and Regional Development which instructed the board to urgently address the tenure of the MD necessitating his sacking.
His term as the MD was extended three months ago.
Despite the ouster, Kimosop has initiated several development projects within the parastatal's including the set-top up of maize seed production plant for farmers in WeiWei,West Pokot.
They also include value addition to mangoes in ElgeyoMarakwet county among others.
