DP Ruto reveals Laboso's touching last words


Deputy President William Ruto has revealed the last words the Bomet Governor the late Joyce Laboso told him when  he visited her in hospital.
Laboso who has been described as an icon of women leadership died on Monday at Nairobi hospital.
She succumbed to cancer that she has been battling with for a long time.
While addressing the media as well sending his condolences, Ruto said that he had a chat with Laboso on Sunday where they discussed a wide range of issues. 
He also said that the governor had requested to go back home but they assured her that everything was under control before they left her at the Nairobi Hospital.
"When I came here on Sunday to see Joyce we had a chat. She was conscious and she asked me what was going on in Bomet, she asked whether she could go home and with Edwin here we told her everything was under control and all she needed to do was to let the doctors take care of her,” he said.
Her spouse Edwin Abonyo said Laboso battled cancer courageously.
