Why DP Ruto rushed to State House

Details have emerged that DP William Ruto was never consulted in the appointment of CS Fred Matiang'i as the chief minister.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday appointed him to chair the National Development Implimentation and Communication Cabinet Committee.

This means that he will be overseeing all the projects , a portfolio Ruto has been discharging.

This was seen as Uhuru's move to tame Ruto.Ruto has been launching different development projects in the country.

According to a source, Ruto after learning of the unfoldings had to rush to State house Mombasa to meet with Uhuru.

"He was very angry that Uhuru never consulted him.He had to rush to Mombasa and that's why they had a lrngthyr talk over lunch,"source said.
